Two dead in shooting near Northside restaurant

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Two people who were shot to death outside a Northside restaurant on Nov. 16 have been identified.

JSO said they found a car completely shot up outside the Island Breeze on Lem Turner Road. The driver and passenger both had multiple gunshot wounds.

Police have identified them as 42-year-old Stephen Lewis of Darlington Drive and 41-year-old Christopher George Johnson of Champlain Road.

According to police, the driver was found dead a few feet away from the car. The passenger was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police believe the men had been chased by the suspects.

No word on any arrests or a motive.
