JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Creators from all over the world are showcasing their ideas in downtown Jacksonville over the next five days.

"One Spark was built to connect ideas to resources to help make those things happen," Elton Rivas of One Spark said.

Part of the resources are coming from One Spark based on what you think is the best invention.

"One Spark has a quarter million dollars that is going to be distributed by public vote."

And you're encouraged to also donate money to any of the projects.

"The public can contribute to the creators in real time, in any amount, and there's nobody else doing that anywhere in the world."

One Spark says there are around 500 different ideas to see and they expect about 10-15,000 people a day checking them out.

"It's really tough to quantify what the economic impact is going to be. Until we actually go through that process, but we have seen third party reviews say it can be in the 10s of millions in the first year, so we're pretty excited about that."

Road closures start this afternoon. Free parking is available at EverBank and a free shuttle will run through downtown. Free parking is also available at the Prime Osborn Convention Center and the airtran is running from there for free as well.
