JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The man accused of killing a local high school senior during an argument over loud music is set to appear in a Florida courtroom Monday afternoon.

Police say 45-year-old Michael Dunn shot 17-year-old Jordan Davis during an argument over loud music. The shooting happened Friday at a gas station at Southside Blvd. and Baymeadows Rd. Police say Dunn fired 7-8 shots into the teen's SUV, hitting and killing Davis. Dunn then left the gas station, JSO says he may not have realized he hit anyone. Dunn was arrested in Brevard County on Saturday. He told detectives he fired the gun because he felt threatened. Dunn is facing murder and attempted murder charges.

Jordan's father, Ron Davis, says he wants to see justice served, "Killing my son he's going to lose his life. Whether it be through the legal system or to God. God's going to punish him for that, so me, I don't want to do anything to him."

Funeral services are set for Saturday at noon at Trinity Chapel Church of God, located at 4665 Macland Road in Powder Springs, Georgia. Internment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.

There is an online guestbook.

No one else was hurt in the shooting.
