Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Bengals placed wide receiver Mohamed Sanu on injured reserve Tuesday with a stress fracture in his left foot.

Sanu played nine games in his rookie season, catching 16 passes for 154 yards and four touchdowns.

The Bengals filled the 2012 third-round pick's roster spot by promoting rookie running back Daniel Herron from the practice squad. They also signed wideout Vidal Hazelton to the practice squad.
