Blog: The Bradley era begins

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Jaguars officially took their next step on their way to be a successful franchise. Gus Bradley was named the Jaguars fifth head coach on Thursday. It was a bit of a surprise considering much of the Jaguars fan base thought they would go with an offensive minded head coach. They went defense and got a guy who wasn't on most people's radar until Tuesday.

Bradley is a fiery guy that Jags fans can get behind, but his most important trait that we still need to learn is his hiring ability. Bradley will have to find an offensive coordinator who is dynamic and is adaptable to the ever changing offenses of the NFL. Bradley is a young coach and will lean on his assistant coaches especially early. The sign of a great leader is the type of people he surrounds himself with and we will learn that the next couple of days
