JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- The Georgia football team had its final practice of the 2013 season on Monday morning at Jacksonville University as the Bulldogs prepare for the TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl.

Georgia had a 90-minute practice at the Dolphins’ facility before taking on the Nebraska Cornhuskers Wednesday at noon ET in the confines of EverBank Field.

After practicing through rain and cooler temperatures through the first three sessions, the Bulldogs tuned up under clear skies and temperatures hovering in the mid-50s on Monday.

“We are at the point now where we’re ready for the game,” said head coach Mark Richt.  “I’m glad it’s close.  I’m ready to take care of business.  It’s been great here in Jacksonville and at this facility.  It has been nice to have the best of both worlds with the turf field and the rye grass field to practice on.  Our guys did a great job at practice while we were at home and have done well here as well.”

Junior receiver Chris Conley aggravated an ankle injury in an earlier bowl practice but was able to practice on Monday.

“Chris is going to give it a shot today,” said Richt before practice.  “He’s a tough kid so we will see how he feels after going through everything.”

Richt also mentioned that most of the stomach ailments that had affected the team have mostly been resolved.

Richt and a trio of players will join Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini and three Cornhuskers at a bowl press conference on Tuesday at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.

Georgia (8-4) takes on Nebraska (8-4) at EverBank Field.  ESPN2 will televise the game.
