Jaguars Free Agents: Derek Cox

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- NFL free agency is right around the corner and leading up to March 12 Action Sports looks at some of the top Jaguars players on the market.

Derek Cox made an immediate impression for Jacksonville, picking off Peyton Manning in his first game. Since then, Cox has made an impact when healthy, including leading the Jags in interceptions this season. But injuries have limited the cornerback to just eighteen games over the past two seasons.

Staying healthy is a concern moving forward for the William & Mary grad but Cox has been regarded as Jacksonville's top corner. Cox will most likely test the free agent market and it's a toss up whether he'll return to the Jags in 2013.
