Lochte sets second world record

ISTANBUL, Turkey - In the fourth day of the 2012 FINA World Short Course Championships Ryan Lochte (USA) notched his second world record of the meet. Lochte previously set a new world record in Friday's final of the 200m individual medley, and added another one in the semi-final of the 100m individual medley.

Lochte finished first in the semi-final of the 100 IM with a time of 50.71 to advance to the final on Sunday, the last day of the championships. Conor Dwyer (USA) advanced to the 100 IM final as well, finishing fifth in a time of 52.74.
