Prep quarterback D.J. Gillins transfers
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - D.J. Gillins will play his final year of high school football for a new team. The former Eagle's View quarterback is headed to Ribault to play for the Trojans in his senior season. Gillins is currently committed to Texas Tech but may switch that allegiance as well after the Red Raiders changed coaches in the offseason.
Gillins missed nearly his entire junior campaign after an injury in the season opener against Bishop Snyder. The quarterback has a chance to impress scouts and coaches in the upcoming Elite 11 camp as he continues to recover from his torn ACL.
