• Jacksonville police: Man shot in the backside in Woodstock neighborhood

    The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after they say a man was shot in his backside Thursday night in the Woodstock area.

    Police said the incident happened near St. Clair and West 1st streets.

    A 22-year-old man was riding his bike when a red vehicle pulled up alongside him and someone shot him.

    He told police that several people were in the car.

    The man is expected to be OK, police said.
