PALM BAY, Fla. (WFTV) -- A man was trapped inside his car after crashing into a power pole, causing live power lines to fall onto his vehicle.

The driver, Orlando Pajuelo, called WFTV from inside of his car and took photos.

Pajuelo said he hydroplaned and lost control at US-1 and Robert J. Conlan Boulevard in Palm Bay at about 9 a.m. Thursday.

"I knew it was hydroplaning. I saw the power line and every time it would spin around, so I just kind of held on and waited for it to end," said Pajuelo.

Officials shut down some of the lanes while power crews worked to safely remove the power lines.

No one was injured in the crash.
